Tensions Boil Over at MSNBC as Shuster, Scarborough Feud. By Mark Finkelstein. August 26, 2008 - 09:00 ET

Tensions are running high at MSNBC, at least surrounding veteran host Joe Scarborough who seems to be increasingly discontented at his network's decision to market itself as the cable net of choice for Bush haters. That hasn't sat well with the likes of the far left Keith Olbermann who has played a large role in getting MSNBC to pursue this strategy

The Democratic convention seems to have only exacerbated those tensions. Last night saw Olbermann caught on an open mic blurting out profane disgust at Scarborough, prompting the latter to verbally call him out while fellow MSNBC anchor Chris Matthews sat back mortified at the intra-family dispute.

Things don't appear to have been smoothed over either as Scarborough was involved in another altercation this morning with liberal correspondent David Shuster on today's "Morning Joe." Scarborough ultimately accused Shuster and his MSNBC colleagues of being Democrats, their independent political registrations notwithstanding. (Exchange happens at 2:15 in video to the right.)

SHUSTER: I have no party. I'm a complete independent.

Joe getting his mojo back
August 26, 2008 - 10:54 ET by iconoclast

Joe getting his mojo back is going to cost him his job at MSNBC. His days are numbered.

As some others have suggested here, FOX would be better off if they hired him and found a good slot for him.

$1,000 energy rebate, and we should pay for it with part of the record
profits that the oil companies are making"

msnbc has been carrying the O water for so long, it is just a shame that the bias that is so blatant hasn't been called out sooner.....
now even the dems are starting to complain about the biased coverage.....

go Joe!
Olberman should be the moderator of the daily kos show, not msnbc.....

MSNBC is whore for Obama.
MSNBC's Matthews, and Russert, Olberman, Shuster, and just about every other jackoff on that network are card carrying Obamistas.
Sen. Clinton won 18 million votes. This DNC, which is run by the likes of @!$%#forbrains Dr. Howard Dean, has the audacity to try and stonk a roll call vote which would affirm that 18 million Dems, Indpendents, and even moderate Republicans voted for her ... more than Obama.
Obama hopefully will have his ass kicked severely on Nov 4, showing that the Ultra Liberal Elitists of the DNC have once again chosen a total loser.
Imagine: putting this guy up for the nomination when they had a centrist far more able to beat John McCain, or any other Republican that was nominated. She won all or almost all of the red counties that super libreral Gore won; she won all the red counties that Ultra Liberal Elitist Kerry lost that Gore had won; she may have even won some red counties that Gore didn't. She also got her share of "liberal" Democrats.
I hope and pray that Olberman/Matthews/memory of ass kissing Russert/Shuster, et al, watch on Nov 4 as millions of Clintonites write her name in ... vote for enough Democrats to take over House and Senate, and force McCain to deal or sit on his thumbs. The dissension on MSNBC, as the whore house for Obama, is disgusting. And Olberman rants about FOX's biases.
Wow.
Thank God I only heard about this on the Internet. I wouldn't want to watch MSNBC ever again.
I hope they go bankrupt if Obama wakes up on Nov. 5 with the taste of ashes in his mouth.
Deservedly so, these ULEs, should go.
Brother, what a bunch of twits. Good for Scarborough.

Say what you must say about anybody on MSNBC, but to bring up the name of Russert in your little rant is totally uncalled for. Say what you want about "liberals" and preach your agenda. But don't use the name of Tim Russert to further it. That's completely uncalled for.

Like fox News has not lied or had extreme bias for Bush and McCaine, come on. I would say there is less bias on MSNBC than on Fox which is basically a propaganda machine. If Joe can't handle it then he can f off.

Fox does no have one show like Olbermans. Where the "news" is so one sided. Olberman NEVER has the republican perspective on his show. NEVER NEVER NEVER. He call himself a reporter but he is not. Oreilly at least has people on who disagree with him. Hannity has Colmes to give the other side along with guests who give Dem/liberal point of view.

Olberman never does. Why? I have no problem if he wants to be the partisan, he so obviously is he needs to stop pretending to be a reporter. For example him covering the dem convention is be like Rush covering the GOP convention as a reporter.
